Sonda Technologies specialists installed Automated Fingerprint Identification System in a leading Institute of Higher Education in Kazakhstan Republic. It was Gumilev Eurasian National University.

Professional System SONDA AFIS was installed special for Juridical Faculty in this Institute. The system is successfully used by police of Russia, Latvia, Moldavia, Uzbekistan, Kirghizia and other countries for several years. Its primary function is creation and conducting of electronic database of tenprints, palm latents and fingerprints. Using this system will help students-lawyers to become familiar with their speciality and work at professional level. Future specialists will learn to identify people fast and accurate. The system will allow to work with fingerprints, palms and latens leaved at the places of crime committing.

Additional possibilities are provided for students. These are the special programs for tenprint input studying and initial features control, as well as fingers and palms latents codding. Future Lawyers will be able not only master the skills of work with AFIS, but also will gain the clear idea about expert-criminalists work. And after graduating will be able to work as processionals in this sphere.

After the system installation Sonda specialists conducted a training course for University teachers. Sonda Programmers demonstrated all features and opportunities of the system, and the educational institution staff asked questions about the Company and the system work. The conversation was interesting and useful. A certificate was given to every participant of a course after its termination.

The Sonda RTI (Real Time Identification) system designed for rapid confirmation or identification of a person by fingerprint.

Access to the system database from any computer via WEB-interface, no special software required, or from any mobile identification terminal.

Searching speed is hundreds of times higher than the rate of traditional AFIS due to the special accelerating algorithms, which yet significantly reduce the hardware requirements.
