Sonda SDK SE 3.2 implements the whole set of basic functions: capture of fingerprint images using different sensors, extraction and matching.
Sonda SDK SE 3.2 ensures fast and reliable matching results thanks to high accuracy of algorithm, which was proven by many international biometric tests like FVC , ILO and NIST.
Sonda SDK SE 3.2 Benefits:
-
The high reliability of our technology was proven by users in more than 30 countries over last 17 years.
-
Tolerance to fingerprints scale, nonlinear deformation, translation and rotation. It is implemented due to use of patented model of fingerprint template, which is based on topology description.
-
-
Reliable and fast matching of both rolled and flat fingerprints.
-
Multiple scanners and multiple programming languages support.
-
Free reliable customers support, flexible license models and reasonable prices.

Sonda SDK SE 3.2 Features and Capabilities
Sonda SDK SE 3.2 algorithm has been developed in 1991 and since that time was improved constantly.
Now Sonda SDK SE 3.2 is one of the most precise algorithms in the world. Its accuracy was confirmed several times on Fingerprint Verification Competition (FVC) in 2004 and 2006 and on MINEX Certification.
Most of the features and capabilities of Sonda SDK SE 3.2 are listed below:
-
Full NIST MINEX (ANSI/INCITS 378) Certification and support of ISO 19794-2 fingerprint template format.
-
-
Tolerance to nonlinear deformation and change of fingerprint scale. It is implemented due to use of patented model of fingerprint, which is based on the topology description. That is why SONDA algorithm provides more accurate results in matching of flat fingerprints with rolled fingerprints.
-
Tolerance to fingerprint translation, rotation. SONDA algorithm provides an ability to match fingerprints positively even if they are translated and rotated. It is also able to identify fingerprints of the same finger even if they have only 5 similar minutiae (specific fingerprint points). Fingerprints of the same finger have 20-40 similar minutiae on average.
-
Flat, rolled fingerprints matching. Sonda SDK SE 3.2 allows implementing searches of fingerprints independently from its type: flat or rolled fingerprints.
-
1:1 and 1:N matching. Sonda SDK SE 3.2 can be used for 1-to-1 (verification), and 1-to-many matching (identification).
-
Identification by several fingerprints images for better reliability. The person may be identified by several fingerprint images taken from different fingers. That results better reliability of identification.
-
Image quality check. Sonda SDK SE 3.2 implements control of fingerprint image and returns quality index in a range from 0 to 1 (0...100%). That allows obtaining fingerprints of required quality, the level of which may be set in accordance with requirements. As a result - better matching results.
-
Adaptive image procession. Sonda SDK SE 3.2 algorithm determines integral features and extracts minutiae automatically. It can create template even from poor quality fingerprint images.
-
Sensor independence. Sonda SDK SE 3.2 supports multiple fingerprint readers and may obtain fingerprint image independently from the type of sensor. It operates both with fingerprints obtained from biometric scanners and fingerprint images obtained from paper.
-
Easy to develop. Several samples in different languages are provided along with their source code as an example.
