“Sonda 7.3 Light” AFIS. It is intended for work with databases up to 300 000 tenprints and expertise performance by hand latents taken from the scenes of crime. May be deployed as at one PC as at the network complex consisting of few machines. To input tenprints and latents from paper carriers serial flatbed scanners are used, which support TWAIN interface. Supports a series of rolling and contact scanners of inkless rolling. Allows to input tenprints and latents from graphic files. Given version of the AFIS is used in city and regional centers with little population. Besides Russian and English languages supported by all “Sonda” AFIS versions, interface of the given version also supports Ukrainian, Latvian and Spanish languages. For customers from the China People Republic a version in Chinese is realized.

 

Station of inkless fingerprinting.
At the setting of a live scanner it may be used to perform fingerprint registration outside the basic AFIS and to transfer formed electronic tenprints into the basic AFIS.
Mobile station of inkless fingerprinting. At the setting on a laptop it may be used for operative fingerprinting of suspects or victims right at the place of accident.
Station of operative checks.
If the laptop has part of tenprint database and part of latent database, which are of operative interest, then the scanner of inkless rolling may be used for operative check of the fact of a certain person’s fingerprints presence in operative array. In the presence of communication lines (telephone, radio channel) such query may be sent to the basic AFIS. Search results will be sent back to the station, from which the query was received.

“Sonda 8 Standard” AFIS.
It is intended for the work with databases from 100 000 to few million tenprints and to perform expertise by hand latents taken from the scenes of crime. To administer the database “Oracle” DBMS is used. Given version of the AFIS is oriented for using in regional centers with big population. “Sonda 8S” AFIS has a variant, which supports Arabian interface and Arabian writing.

 

“Sonda 8 Еnterprise” AFIS.
Intended for the work with databases from 500 000 to scores of million tenprints and to perform expertise by hand latents taken from the scenes of crime. To administer the database “Oracle” DBMS is used. A difference from 8S version is a distributed search system which process one query with few matchers simultaneously. The system is easily scaled with adding matchers. It automatically looks after operability of matchers and rebuilds its work at the appearance of failure of one or few matchers. Given AFIS version is oriented for using in regional centers and at the federal level.

 

System of computer and information protection “Sonda LogOn”.
It is used at computers storing information of high importance (secret data, documents, databases and so on). At the work with given system there is no need to remember passwords – fingerprints are used instead of them. Password may be spied upon but it is very hard to forge. Besides, all important files may be encrypted and only allowed people will be able to read them with the use of a fingerprint.

Besides software our company is ready to supply big batches of expert-criminalistic and other equipment, utilities and consumables for need of law enforcement agencies. In 2001 and 2003 “Sonda Ltd.” won tenders help by UNDP (UNO development program) for supply of materials and equipment for the expert-criminalistic service of the MIA of Tajikistan, and performed such supplies.
