TESTING IN THE EXPERT CRIMINALISTIC CENTER AT THE MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS OF RUSSIA The expert criminalistic center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia tested the new version of AFIS «Sonda-8 Enterprise Edition» in June 2006. The testing was performed on the database of more than 5 000 000 tenprints and 23 000 latents. The testing results represented the total conformity of AFIS “Sonda 8E” to modern requirements made to AFIS of regional and federal level. The search speed on one processor of 3,0 GHz for queries "tenprint-tenprint" takes on average 169 046 matches per second. More detailed information you can see in the test report. DIPLOMA OF THE ACADEMY OF MANAGEMENT OF THE MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS OF RUSSIA ”Sonda” AFIS was awarded the honourable diploma of Management Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia at the Anniversary International Conference XV and thematic exhibition “Informatization and Informational Security of Law-Enforcement Body ” in May 2006. MEDAL OF THE MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS OF URUGUAY For the achievements in the organization of the dactyloscopic registration, “Sonda” company was awarded the honourable diploma and memorable medal at the celebration of 100 anniversary of the Criminalistic Service of Uruguay in 2005. THE GOLDEN MEDAL «NATIONAL SECURITY» MOSCOW “Sonda” company was awarded the gold medal “Quality Assurance and Security” for “Development and implementation of the Automatic Fingerprint Identification System “Sonda” together with the inkless fingerprint enrolled scanner “Sonda LS5” and PC access restriction system “Sonda Logon” in November 2004. The competition took place in the terms of VIII International forum of national security tools “INTERPOLITEX-2004”. INTERNATIONAL BIOMETRIC ASSOCIATION TESTING (IBA) In April 2004, the Fingerprint Verification Competition was held for the purpose of fingerprint identification algorithms testing. More than 120 Companies from different countries submitted the applications for a testing. On the databases of the fingerprints received from the optical ant thermal sensors, Sonda Company has taken the first prize. Reference source: To download the archives of the detailed report The testing site link THE MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS OF UKRAINE TESTING At the beginning of 2003, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine tested ADIS “Sonda” for the compliance to the “Technical requirements to ADIS, operating at the Agency of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Edition 1” and recommended it for the practical exploitation on any of three levels: Interdistrict Department, Regions Central Administrative Board, MIA of Ukraine. The testing was performed on 600 000 tenprints and 4 500 latents database. The remarkable results and excellent searching characteristics of ADIS “Sonda” were mainly marked out. THE MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS OF UZBEKISTAN TESTING In the beginning of 2001 AFIS “Sonda” successfully passed testing according to the documents "Technical requirements to the realization of the dactyloscopic registration systems and processing Systems and dactyloscopic information use in Uzbekistan Republic” (MIA of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, 1999.) as well as «The program and the method of the Automatic Fingerprint Identification Systems acceptance trials” (MIA of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, 2000.). The data base volume was 4 900 000 fingerprints and 2000 palmprints. In testing AFIS “Sonda” showed its conformity to all functional requirements and was recommended for taking dactyloscopic registrations in district and regional Departments of Internal Affairs. In 1997 ADIS “Sonda” successfully passed testing for the compliance to this document. The testing was performed on 120 000 tenprints database. According to the testing results, ADIS “Sonda” was recommended for dactyloscopic registrations input at the Expert Criminalistic Centers of the city, district and regional levels with the remote workstations use.
